Immigration Overview

Mexico's immigration system is relatively accessibleβ€”temporary residence can be obtained with proof of income or property ownership. Popular destinations include Mexico City, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, and Oaxaca.

The combination of low cost of living, proximity to US/Canada, no minimum stay requirements, and growing digital nomad infrastructure makes Mexico increasingly attractive for location-independent professionals.
